The mosque on Gogol Street in Bishkek will be demolished and a new one will be built
The event, timed to coincide with the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, was attended by the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, who met with the parishioners of the Kimsanbay Azhy Abdurakhmanov Mosque. This information was provided by the press service of the city administration.

During the meeting, the mayor congratulated those present on the beginning of Ramadan, expressing hope that this month would bring peace, prosperity, and harmony to every family.



During the event, the mayor was presented with a project concerning the construction of a new mosque. According to the plan, the old building of the Kimsanbay Azhy Abdurakhmanov Mosque, which is in a state of disrepair and not suitable for reconstruction, will be completely demolished.

The new project includes the construction of a modern two-story mosque building, which will feature an underground parking lot, a café, boutiques, administrative offices, and a daaratkana (ablution facilities). The total area of the new facility will be 5,851.30 square meters, with the prayer hall occupying 3,506.77 square meters, allowing for up to 4,200 people to be accommodated at the same time.
