“During the work on laying a new water supply and sewage line, the street was damaged. After the work was completed, the condition of the road surface remained unsatisfactory. As a result, potholes formed, which fill with rain and meltwater flowing from both sides of the road. When cars pass by, the water splashes and gets into the yards,” local residents report.
People have repeatedly appealed to the authorities asking to bring the road into order by leveling it and filling it with gravel.
“We asked for at least a small repair - to level the road and fill it with gravel. However, the Bishkek City Hall redirected our request to the Lenin District Administration, from where we received a response that no repairs are planned. We don’t know who else to turn to,” they share.
After this information was published, the press service of the Bishkek City Hall reported, citing the Lenin District Akimat, that major repairs of roads and sidewalks are carried out according to the annual title list.
“Municipal roads that are used by public transport, as well as those located near educational and healthcare institutions, are prioritized in this list,” the message states.
The title list for 2026 does not include major repairs of Uchitel'skaya Street.At the same time, the issue of filling the street with gravel will be considered when forming the production program for 2026, depending on the allocated funding.
