In Kyrgyzstan, 5,600 cases of ARVI and influenza were registered in a week

From March 16 to 22, the Kyrgyz Republic registered 5,683 cases of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza. This data was provided by 24.kg from the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance.

As noted by specialists, compared to the previous week, the incidence decreased by 11.5 percent.

Among all the patients, 69 percent are children under 14 years old.
Epidemiological monitoring of severe acute respiratory infections and influenza-like illnesses continues in Bishkek, Osh, and Tokmok.

Doctors strongly recommend that citizens adhere to preventive measures, avoid crowded places, and refrain from self-medication, instead seeking medical attention at clinics at the first signs of illness.
