In a week, over 6,500 cases of ARVI and influenza were reported in Kyrgyzstan

The Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance has presented fresh data on influenza and ARVI morbidity for the tenth week of 2026.

From March 2 to March 8, a total of 6,576 cases of ARVI and influenza were registered across the country (index 89.6), which is 14.7% lower compared to the previous week. For comparison, from February 23 to March 1, there were 7,711 cases.

Of those affected, 65.9% are children under 14 years old (4,333 cases).

Epidemiological surveillance of severe acute respiratory infections and influenza-like illnesses continues in Bishkek, Osh, and Tokmok.
