Season of ARVI. A specialist explained which flu is more common among Kyrgyzstani people.

During the New Year holidays, 12,124 cases of ARVI and influenza were registered in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported on the air of "Birinchi Radio" by Sultan Suranbaev, a doctor from the Department of State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance.

According to the specialist, this is a 27 percent increase compared to the data from the previous week.

Suranbaev noted that various viruses are observed in the country, including rhinovirus, adenovirus, and parainfluenza. The highest number of cases is associated with influenza A, while cases of influenza B are less common.

The department continues to conduct daily monitoring and carries out epidemiological surveillance of the situation.
