Flu and ARVI in Kyrgyzstan. More than 40 schools have switched to online learning

According to information provided by the press service of the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance, there is a decrease in the incidence of influenza and ARVI in Kyrgyzstan.

In the 51st week of 2025 (from December 15 to 21), 22,192 cases of ARVI and influenza were registered, which is 1.7 times less compared to the previous week. It is worth noting that from December 8 to 14, there were 37,629 cases.

Of the total number of cases, 68.2% are children under 14 years old. As of December 22, 44 educational institutions have switched to online learning.

The department also reported ongoing epidemiological monitoring of severe acute respiratory infections and influenza-like illnesses in Bishkek, Osh, and Tokmok.
