According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Health, due to the onset of the epidemiological season for ARVI and influenza, a decision was made on December 15 to transition 526 schools in Kyrgyzstan to an online learning format for the duration of the incubation period.

Additionally, as a result of quarantine measures, 403 preschool educational institutions have been closed.

It is worth noting that there are about 2,400 schools operating in the country, of which 224 are private.

Sanitary and epidemiological specialists continue to conduct daily monitoring of the situation regarding the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza.

Last week, Kyrgyzstan recorded 37,600 cases of ARVI and influenza, which is 11.7% less compared to the previous week.

Doctors strongly recommend that the population adhere to preventive measures and avoid self-medication, instead seeking assistance at local clinics.
