As noted by the department, compared to the previous week, the number of cases increased by 28.8 percent.
Among all the patients, 76.7 percent are children under 14 years old. Hospitalization affected 17.4 percent of the patients, which corresponds to 2.7 thousand cases.
The highest incidence rates were recorded in Bishkek and Osh, as well as in the Batken, Chui, and Talas regions, where the figures exceed the national average.
Since October 2025, the predominant strain circulating in the country has been influenza type A, alongside registered cases of influenza type B and COVID-19.
As for ARVI, the most common viruses among them are adenoviruses, rhinoviruses, and parainfluenza viruses.
