In Kara-Balta, a meeting was held with representatives from the western districts of the Chui region, including Sokuluk, Moscow, Panfilov, and Jayil, reports Turmush correspondent.

District akims and the head of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region, Colonel of Police Kanibek Abdyrahmanov, attended the event.

The main focus of the meeting was on legal issues faced by local residents. The problems of the residents of the village of Kozhomkul in the Sokuluk district were discussed particularly intensely.

Local residents complained about difficulties in obtaining legal documents for previously acquired land plots and appealed to the government for assistance.

“We came with questions regarding land in Kozhomkul, including plots numbered 271-295 and others. We have approached all instances. In 2023, three of us appealed to the president, who, it seemed to us, resolved the situation. The Minister of Internal Affairs U. Niyazaliev was present at the meeting. However, despite the president's instructions, our problems are still unresolved, and the court process continues. People who bought land from others may now become defendants in court. Ordinary citizens who invested their funds in land have found themselves in a difficult situation. Local authorities are inactive, and it seems that only our president can help,” they stated.

According to the residents, local authorities, the prosecutor's office, and law enforcement agencies are well aware of the situation with the lands, yet they do nothing. People are forced to handle boundary clarification issues on their own, as no one from the architectural bodies comes to help. “Our rights remain unprotected,” added the residents of Kozhomkul.
