“Currently, restoration work is actively underway on a 210-meter section of the Saza canal. In particular, the restoration of worn-out sections of the canal is being carried out, and measures are being taken to increase its capacity. These actions will help reduce water losses and improve its usage.
In addition, the cleaning of internal ditches and canals is also being actively conducted. Over time, ditches become clogged with silt, stones, and other obstacles, and they are now being cleared to ensure the free flow of water. This will allow for timely provision of necessary irrigation water to the fields.
