Japan will gift the USA 250 cherry blossom trees
During the official visit of U.S. President Donald Trump to Japan, the country's Prime Minister Sanae Takahichi announced plans to gift 250 cherry blossom trees to the U.S. capital. This decision is timed to coincide with the 250th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, reports RIA Novosti. Currently, Trump is in Japan and met with Emperor Naruhito yesterday.
