Aydemi Asangazieva won gold at the tournament in Sweden

The athlete from Kyrgyzstan, Aydemi Asangazieva, won gold at the international wrestling tournament held in Sweden.

The Klippen Lady Open competition took place from February 13 to 15 in the city of Klippan.

Aydemi competed in the category up to 53 kg among girls aged 17 and under, where a total of 10 wrestlers participated.

In the group stage, she achieved three victories over Swedish opponents, demonstrating superiority with an overall score of 24:3.

In the semifinals, Asangazieva confidently defeated Canadian athlete Lauren MacGregor with a score of 8:0, and in the final, she won against Emmy Nerrel from Sweden with a result of 6:0.

Additionally, Asel Toktosun kyzy also won gold in the weight category up to 49 kg.

In the category up to 65 kg, Ayana Asamalikova was unable to advance past the first match and went home without medals.
