Tolgonaï Shaaeva, representing Kyrgyzstan, won at the finish line of the Istanbul Marathon. She completed the 42-kilometer distance in 3 hours and 38 minutes, securing the gold medal.

62-year-old Tolgonaï Shaaeva, a teacher at the Naryn Pedagogical College, actively participates in marathons in her age category.

In October, she also took first place at the traditional Turkistan Marathon, finishing with a time of 3 hours and 35 minutes for the 42-kilometer distance.
