According to the Volleyball Federation of Kyrgyzstan, four teams participated in the tournament, which was held in a round-robin format.
In the group stage, the Kyrgyz women played three matches, winning two of them: they defeated the teams of Afghanistan (3:0) and Bangladesh (3:0), but lost to the tournament hosts - the Maldives team, with a score of 1:3.
Finishing second in the group, the team advanced to the semifinals, where they achieved victory over the Afghanistan team with a score of 3:1.
In the final match, the Kyrgyz women faced the Maldives volleyball players again and this time managed to win, taking the match 3:1.
As a result of the tournament, Nurjamal Bolotbekova was awarded the title of Most Valuable Player (MVP).
The competitions took place from December 21 to 25 in the capital of the Maldives - the city of Male.
