Luke Littler, an 18-year-old darts player from the UK, has confirmed his status as world champion by successfully defending his title at the tournament in Alexandra Palace. He has now joined the ranks of great players such as Phil Taylor, Adrian Lewis, and Gary Anderson, who have also been world champions twice.

In the final match, Littler defeated Jan van Veen with an impressive score of 7:1, earning him a record prize fund of 1 million pounds sterling.

This young talent first caught attention two years ago when he reached the final of the world championship in his debut season and has since remained undefeated on this stage. Littler noted that successfully defending his title is a "dream come true."
