Nurtayeva began her performances in the 1/8 finals, where, unfortunately, she suffered a defeat from the Mongolian athlete Bolrtungalag Zorigt.
Zorigt managed to reach the finals, which allowed the Kyrgyzstani to continue fighting for bronze in the consolation tournament.
Initially, Nurtayeva was supposed to meet with Liza Dudayeva from Russia; however, the latter withdrew from the competition due to an injury.
In the decisive match for third place, Nurzat stepped onto the mat against Kristina Bratchikova from Russia, winning and securing the bronze medal.
It is also worth noting that earlier Dilnaz Sazanova brought the team a silver medal in the weight category up to 62 kg.
