The Ivan Yarygin Cup, which will take place in Krasnoyarsk from January 29 to February 1, 2026, will gather the best wrestlers in the world. Athletes from Kyrgyzstan will participate in the tournament, including the women's national team.
According to the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic, wrestlers will compete in 10 weight categories, vying for medals in this prestigious competition.
Currently, the participation of athletes from 16 countries has been confirmed, highlighting the high international status of the tournament. Last year, 384 athletes from 17 countries participated in the competition, indicating its popularity and significance in the global wrestling calendar.
The Ivan Yarygin tournament has become an important stage of preparation for wrestlers gearing up for world championships, continental championships, and the Olympic Games.
