Snowboarding - Halfpipe (Women): New Champion

The women's halfpipe final will be remembered for the unexpected victory of 17-year-old Gaon Choi from South Korea, who scored 90.25, surpassing American Chloe Kim (88.00), who was aiming for her third consecutive Olympic gold. Japanese athlete Mitsuki Ono finished the competition in third place with a score of 85.00.

After falling in her first run, Choi managed to regroup and deliver an outstanding third run, while Kim fell in the final, preventing her from maintaining her lead.

Despite a shoulder injury, Kim was the favorite, confidently leading after the first run.

Freestyle - Mogul (Men): Gold with a Minimal Advantage
