At the ranking wrestling tournament in Albania, Kyrgyz athlete Gulnura Tashtanbekova won a bronze medal, reports United World Wrestling (UWW).
In the competition in the weight category up to 65 kilograms, Gulnura faced a rival from Russia, Alina Kasabieva, in the quarterfinals, where she suffered a defeat. However, since Kasabieva reached the finals, the Kyrgyz athlete had a chance to compete for bronze.
In the decisive match for third place, Gulnura triumphed over her opponent from India with a score of 4:3.
We remind you that on the third day of the tournament, Meirim Jumaanazarova also managed to win a silver medal.
