In Kyrgyzstan, the school sports league has resumed its activities, covering football, volleyball, and basketball. The Director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, Urmat Asanbaev, announced this during a meeting of the parliamentary committee.

During the discussion, Deputy Bolot Saginayev emphasized that successes in football and volleyball largely depend on the active work of school leagues. He noted that previously, when school tournaments were held regularly, children's interest in sports significantly increased, which contributed to their more frequent participation in various competitions and good results.

Saginayev also raised a question about the revival of the school league.

Urmat Asanbaev confirmed that the project has already been relaunched. He reported that team registration has been completed, and about 2000 teams are participating in the league.

The head of the agency noted that this season, the school league includes three sports: football, volleyball, and basketball. In the future, it is planned to add table tennis and national sports. However, as Asanbaev pointed out, the lack of sports infrastructure still hinders the development of some of these disciplines.

He also mentioned that the fifth season of the school league has already started, and the final competitions are scheduled for the period from May 1 to May 9.
