At the Arnold Sports Festival in Ohio, one of the most significant multi-sport events in the USA, Kyrgyzstani weightlifters continue to demonstrate high results. This information was published on the official championship website.
According to the championship data, Bekdoolot Rasulbekov won gold in the weight category up to 110 kilograms, where 108 athletes competed.
In his performance, the Kyrgyzstani demonstrated the following results in the clean and jerk:
- snatch — 165 kilograms;
As a result, in the total of the two lifts, Bekdoolot took first place and was awarded the tournament's gold medal, as well as received the "Best Athlete" diploma of the competition.
Thus, the total number of gold medals won by the Kyrgyzstan team at this tournament reached five.
It is worth noting that the Arnold Sports Festival hosts more than a thousand weightlifters from different corners of the world every year and is considered one of the largest power sports tournaments in the United States.
