Garrett Kelly, a newcomer to the Osh club "Alaï", has been called up for the match against the Sri Lanka national team as part of the qualifying tournament for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup.
On March 31, the Sri Lanka national team will play an away match against the Chinese Taipei team. Both teams no longer have a chance to advance to the final stage of the tournament.
Sri Lanka is in the same group as the Turkmenistan team, which also includes two players from the Joghorku League — Teymur Charyev from "Barsy" and Mikhail Titov from "Özgön", who have been invited for the match against Thailand.
Additionally, 27-year-old midfielder Alexey Saveliev from "Asia" in Talas has received a call-up to the Latvia national team. His team will play two matches against Gibraltar on March 26 and 31, in an attempt to maintain their position in Group C of the UEFA Nations League.
