Among the participants were State Secretary Arslan Koychiev, Presidential Advisor Marat Imankulov, First Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy Suunbek Nadyrbekov, as well as member of the Central Election Commission Suyunbek Kasmanbetov, storytellers, and Manas scholars.
Koychiev emphasized that the preservation and popularization of the epic "Manas" is the duty of all nations with their own statehood.
The Deputy Minister of Culture also spoke about the actions of the state and society aimed at developing storytelling and spreading the epic.
At the end of the event, participants of the "Zharatman Manaschy" competition, who showcased their talents, were awarded.
