In the Ak-Terek rural district, in the village of Ala-Bash, students of the M. Kidibaev school have begun a new chapter in their educational journey. Now their path to knowledge has become significantly easier thanks to a new bus provided by the non-profit organization "Eurasia."

Previously, children from the neighboring village of Chetindi and the remote area of Saz reached this school using donkeys and horses as transportation. "With the arrival of the bus, the children's lives have improved. Now they arrive for classes on time and return home without delays. The journey on donkeys was difficult, especially in winter when the cold and wind made it even harder," said local resident Archagul Sadykova.

She also noted that sometimes children had to walk, especially in severe frosts. "We live in a remote pasture, and in winter, the dried-up river can become a serious obstacle. Sometimes the children simply couldn't overcome the icy sections and had to turn back without reaching school. These difficulties have greatly strengthened my older sons, who have now received an education. The younger ones are in the 9th and 7th grades, and the bus has become a real blessing for all the children in our village," she added.

The principal of the M. Kidibaev school, Rustam Esenkhanov, reported that the bus was handed over to the educational institution last year. Students from Ala-Bash, Chetindi, and Saz can now receive an education more comfortably. "Previously, children walked 5-6 kilometers, but now the bus takes them along the main road, shortening the distance to 16 kilometers. Currently, the bus serves 37 students, which is a significant relief. Our school has a total of 295 children, taught by 32 teachers," the principal concluded.

This bus was handed over to the educational institution in the fall of 2024 as part of an agreement between Kyrgyzstan and the non-profit organization "Eurasia."
