A Center Named After Ryspay Abdykadyrov Will Open at the Kyrgyz-Uzbek University: The Memory of the Great Composer Will Come to Life

At the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University named after B. Sydykov, the opening of a new center dedicated to the study and dissemination of the cultural heritage of the outstanding composer, singer, and accordionist Ryspei Abdykadyrov is planned.

The rector of the university, Professor A. Mamasydykov, held a meeting with Sultan Boroshov, the head of the International Club named after Ryspei Abdykadyrov, during which the program for the opening of the center was discussed.

According to information from the university, the new center will feature a bust of the composer, his personal belongings, sheet music, books about him, as well as publications from newspapers and magazines, video and audio materials.

Guests from seven regions of Kyrgyzstan, as well as from other countries who are fans of the work of this talented composer, are expected to attend the opening ceremony, which will take place in the coming days.

To prepare for the cultural and economic activities of the center, a special meeting was held with responsible individuals, during which necessary instructions were given.

It is also worth noting that at the beginning of this year, Professor Abdilbayet Mamasydykov was elected honorary president of the International Club named after Ryspei Abdykadyrov and received a first-class order from this club.

Ryspei Abdykadyrov, the legendary composer, was born on January 12, 1941. His more than four hundred songs, including "Öskön jer," "Sagyynam, tuulgan jer seni," "Tügöyüm," "Esindebi," "Jürok waltz," "Jüroktü kettin jaralap," "Saginuu," "Izdeim seni," and many others, have become beloved by the people and hold a special place in the hearts of listeners.
