651,000 Russian language textbooks have been delivered from Russia to Kyrgyzstan, intended for students in grades 1, 2, 5, and 7. These textbooks were developed jointly by authors from both countries, taking into account the peculiarities of school education in Russian and Kyrgyz languages.

Recently, during a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission held in Russia, Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk presented a certificate for these textbooks to the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev.

Dodurkul Kendirbaeva, the Minister of Education of Kyrgyzstan, noted: "The textbooks have been created in accordance with the new educational standards of Kyrgyzstan and will be distributed to all schools in the country. This project is the result of our bilateral cooperation and a significant step towards improving the quality of Russian language teaching in Kyrgyzstan."

Alexey Poyda, the education attaché and first secretary of the Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, added: "A joint Russian-Kyrgyz team participated in the creation of the textbooks. They have been adapted with consideration for Kyrgyz culture and shared history. The textbooks are being sent to all regions of the country where there is a high demand for Russian language materials. This is just the beginning of our joint project, and we plan to continue working on new editions."

Albert Zulkharnayev, head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representation, emphasized: "These textbooks not only cover the grammar of the Russian language but also introduce the culture, history, and nature of both countries. This will help children learn many interesting things about Russia and Kyrgyzstan, which is the foundation for future relations between our peoples."

This transfer of textbooks is part of a broad initiative to provide foreign educational institutions with materials for the Russian language. Starting in 2025, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, together with the "My Story" Foundation for the Support of Humanities and the "Prosveshchenie" Publishing House, with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, will implement a special program for Kyrgyzstan.
