"Indian Cinema Days" will take place in Bishkek from November 21 to 24.

The event will begin with a ceremonial opening, which will take place on November 21 at 18:00 at the Kyrgyz National Drama Theater. The evening program includes performances by the folk dance ensemble "Kauhar" and the children's musical theater "Taberik," who will present vibrant Bollywood dances.

Immediately after the opening, at 19:00, viewers will be able to see the film "Dangal" (translated as "Wrestler"). The lead role is played by the world-famous actor Aamir Khan. This film is based on real events, telling the story of a former wrestler who trains his daughters to achieve success in world wrestling.

The director of this film is Nitesh Tiwari, and the producers are Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao from Aamir Khan Productions.

From November 22 to 24, three more popular Indian films will be shown at the "Ala Too" cinema. On November 22 at 14:00 (Saturday), viewers will see "The Unstolen Bride" with Kyrgyz subtitles. The lead role is played by the "King of Bollywood" Shah Rukh Khan.

The plot of the film revolves around the sincere love between Raj (Shah Rukh Khan) and Simran (Kajol), who meet during a vacation in Europe. However, when Simran returns to India for an arranged marriage, Raj, inspired by his father Dharamvir (Anupam Kher), decides to come and win her heart and the blessing of her father Baldev Singh (Amrish Puri).

The next day, on November 23 at 14:00 (Sunday), the film "English Vinglish" with Russian subtitles will be shown, starring Sridevi, known to many viewers. This touching film tells the story of a housewife, Shashi Godbole (Sridevi), who suffers from her family's mockery due to her lack of knowledge of the English language. At her niece's wedding in New York, she decides to enroll in English courses, which changes her life.

The "Days of Indian Cinema" will conclude with the film "Life Can't Be Boring," which will be shown on November 24 at 14:00 (Monday) with Russian subtitles. The main roles are played by Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, and Abhay Deol. Three friends decide to go to Spain for a three-week bachelor vacation, which becomes not only a holiday for them but also a journey of self-discovery.

All film screenings will be free, and seating in the "Ala Too" cinema will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The "Days of Indian Cinema" are organized with the support of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) of India. The main goal of the event is to strengthen cultural ties between India and the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as to introduce the rich heritage of Indian cinema and its shared values and traditions.
