From October 29 to November 2, an event dedicated to Russian culture will take place in Kyrgyzstan. The Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Timurlan Azhymaliev, announced this at a press conference at the "Kabar" agency.
According to Azhymaliev, this event aims to strengthen cultural ties between the two countries.
“The program is very rich and includes a gala concert of Russian artists, a festival of Russian cinema, performances by the theater "Masterovaya 12" of Nikita Mikhalkov, as well as an exhibition and a film screening dedicated to the history of Kyrgyz cinema,” he added.

Also, on October 29, the Russian Film Festival will start at the "Manas" cinema. The audience will be presented with the film "August," after which there will be a meeting with director Nikita Vysotsky. In the following days, films such as "Love of the Soviet Union," "Not on the Lists," "Doctor of Dinosaurs," "First on Olympus," and "Kraken" will be screened.
Sergey Bardakov, the director of the Ch. Aitmatov State National Russian Drama Theater, noted that negotiations for the performance of Nikita Mikhalkov's theater "Masterovaya 12" began in February.

From October 30 to November 2, the "Masterovaya 12" theater will tour at the Ch.Aitmatov State Russian Drama Theater. The Bishkek audience will be able to see the performances "12" and "The Tale of Lost Time" based on the work of Yevgeny Shvarts.
