The Central Election Commission fined a social media user for violating the conditions of election campaigning

The working group of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums conducted monitoring of social networks and discovered a violation of election campaigning carried out by Facebook user Adilet Kadyrakunov.

At the meeting of the CEC, which took place on November 20, it was reported that Kadyrakunov published materials about the activities of the deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, Ulan Bakasov, who has put forward his candidacy for parliament in constituency No. 30.

As a result of the discussion, the CEC members decided to impose a fine of 7,500 soms on Kadyrakunov. Additionally, he was recommended to delete the previously posted posts and to enter into an agreement with the candidate to carry out campaigning activities.

Constituency No. 30 includes the city of Naryn, as well as the Ak-Talinsky, Naryn, and At-Bashinsky districts. The total number of voters in this constituency is 136,756.
