She plans to appeal to the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic
The Administrative Court of Kyrgyzstan's capital, Bishkek, rejected the claim of Zhyldyzkan Zholdosheva, who is vying for a deputy mandate in district No. 8. This information was received from judicial authorities.
Zhyldyzkan filed a lawsuit on December 9, challenging the actions of the Central Election Commission (CEC). She claims that she faced false accusations that led to the annulment of part of the votes, which, according to her, violates her rights as well as the rights of voters.
To clarify, in the early elections to the Jogorku Kenesh, Zhyldyzkan Zholdosheva received 1,894 votes, making her the leader in terms of gender quota. However, after videos emerged suggesting vote buying, the territorial commission annulled the voting results at polling stations No. 5249 and 5514 in district No. 8.
The candidate expressed disagreement with the court's decision and plans to appeal it to the Supreme Court.
