Sadyr Japarov discussed the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan at a forum in Japan
The president's press service reported that Sadyr Japarov emphasized the importance of developing tourism infrastructure in Kyrgyzstan to create a year-round tourist season. In this context, he presented a major project for the construction of the ski resort "Ala-Tuu Resort" and invited Japanese colleagues to collaborate on its implementation.
The President stressed that cooperation in the field of tourism could be an important step towards strengthening ties between the peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Japan. He noted that the unique historical and cultural heritage of the country, located at the crossroads of ancient trade routes and civilizations, as well as the preserved elements of Buddhist culture, are of particular interest to tourists from Japan. Sadyr Japarov expressed readiness to cooperate in preserving cultural diversity and creating a specialized museum complex, according to the press service's statement.
