According to information provided by the Ministry of Culture, the mural not only depicts Okeeva's portrait but also includes symbolic scenes from his famous films, which have become iconic for the "Kyrgyz miracle".
This artwork serves as a significant symbol, paying tribute to the creative legacy of this great master and inspiring future generations of filmmakers.
The idea for the mural was conceived by Maksat Jumaev, who currently heads the Kyrgyzfilm studio. According to reports, the project was implemented without funding from the state budget, and all expenses were covered by the director's personal funds.
Additionally, the work on updating, repairing, and improving the facade of the administrative building was also carried out at Jumaev's personal expense.
