The ceremonial opening of a street, monument, and museum dedicated to the outstanding Kazakh poet and philosopher Abai Kunanbaev took place in Osh. The event was attended by high-ranking guests, including the Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan Askaraly Madaminov, the Minister of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan Aida Balaeva, as well as the Mayor of Osh Jenishbek Toktorbaev. Representatives of diplomatic missions and the creative intelligentsia were also present at the ceremony.

Aida Balaeva, the Minister of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, expressed gratitude for the implementation of this project, noting its significance for strengthening cultural ties between the two neighboring countries.

During the event, the Mayor of Osh, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, was awarded the Order of "Dostyk" II degree, which was presented to him in accordance with the decree of the President of Kazakhstan. This award was given in recognition of his efforts to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the peoples.

Additionally, during her visit, Aida Balaeva toured one of the most significant museum complexes in Kyrgyzstan — the National Historical and Archaeological Museum Complex "Sulaiman-Too," which is also a UNESCO World Heritage site.
