Talcan


Reference: talcan - coarse flour made from wheat or oats.

One of the most beloved treats for children. It can be said that this is the pastries of our grandmothers. They were prepared differently in various regions.

Sweet talcan (talcan with sugar)

500 g of wheat talcan,
800 g of sugar.
Mix talcan with sugar and serve with tea.

Köglyögön talcan

1. 800 g of talcan,
200 g of honey (or cream),
clarified butter,
milk.

Finely ground talcan from well-roasted grains is mixed with honey to make small balls. Instead of honey, milk, clarified butter, cream, or regular butter can be used, etc.

2. 300 g of talcan,
200 g of thick sour cream,
100 g of sugar.

Mix everything and form balls. You can simply crumple them. Serve with tea as well.

Kurut talcan (crushed kurut with sugar)

1 kg of kurut,
500 g of sugar.

Crush the kurut, sift it through a sieve, and mix it with sugar. Serve with tea.
