- The press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry announced plans to open 385 processing enterprises in the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the ministry's forecasts, this will increase the level of agricultural product processing to 25% by 2030.

As part of the assessment of the potential of crop and livestock production in the Talas region, the launch of 4 trade and logistics centers (TLCs) and 21 processing enterprises is planned.

The upcoming enterprises will take into account the climatic and geographical features of the region, which will help preserve agricultural products, minimize losses, and increase processing volumes.

The main areas of work for the enterprises will include the processing of wheat, vegetables, fruits, milk, meat, and wool, as well as the production of oils and feeds.

Planned distribution by districts and cities of the region:

These measures will be implemented in all districts and rural areas of the region, ensuring that processing enterprises have a stable supply of raw materials in accordance with the sectoral specialization of each region. It is expected that this will lead to a reduction in agricultural product losses, the creation of new jobs, and the expansion of competitive opportunities for the agro-industrial complex.

The ministry will continue to collaborate with local authorities to improve the agro-industrial potential of the Talas region and other regions of the country.

The ministry also calls on local entrepreneurs and investors to collaborate in the implementation of these projects, which open new opportunities for the development of processing and agribusiness in the regions.
