The mining industry contributed 194 billion soms to Kyrgyzstan's budget over four years

- In an interview with Akylbek Maralbaev, the chairman of the Union of Land Users, it was reported that the mining industry contributed 194 billion soms to the state budget of Kyrgyzstan over the past four years.

According to him, from 2021 to 2025, mining enterprises transferred an average of about 40 billion soms annually to the country's budget.

“This amount is of significant importance, so it is necessary to pay special attention to this industry and create conditions that promote its development,” noted Maralbaev.

Additionally, he mentioned that during his visit to the USA, the country's president discussed the importance of critical materials.

“These are the minerals of the 21st century, the reserves of which we have. We need to make efforts for their extraction and processing,” added the chairman of the Union of Land Users.

He also emphasized that the mining industry is one of the key factors contributing to the economic development of Kyrgyzstan.
