The visit of the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Italy, Taalaybek Bazarbaev, took place on November 10-11 in Sicily. During this trip, he held a series of meetings with key figures in the region, including the mayor of Catania, the president of the Unimpres association, the rector of the University of Catania, and the director of the "Massimo Bellini" theater.
During discussions with the mayor of Catania, the parties reached an agreement on developing bilateral relations through the establishment of sister city ties.
Additionally, in a meeting with the president of Unimpres, G. Spadafora, the ambassador proposed to establish direct connections with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan to identify priority areas for cooperation and implement specific projects.
As a result of these meetings, the ambassador presented information about the export opportunities, tourism potential, and trade prospects of Kyrgyzstan.
