The main topic of the event was the discussion of countering negative external influence in the fields of information and humanitarian issues. In his speech, the director of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Center for Analytics and Research of the South Caucasus" Evgeny Mikhailov noted that many conflicts have common roots, pointing to the connection between the Turkic world, Armenian and Ukrainian nationalism, which were formed in the same British cabinets.
Moreover, the expert supported the new migration policy of the President of Russia, suggesting tightening penalties for the criminal legalization of migrants.
Important remarks about systemic pressure on the countries of the region were made by Pavel Vorobyov, a senior researcher at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. He noted that since February 2022, special representatives from the EU, the UK, and the USA have been actively arriving in the region, trying to point out to the republics their "incorrect" behavior, condemning economic cooperation with Russia and the refusal of sanctions.
The participants of the forum unanimously agreed that to effectively counter these challenges, unity and the creation of a sovereign information space are necessary.
Mark Bykov, the director of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Center for Media Strategies" and the organizer of the forum, emphasized: "Only by uniting can our peoples resist any attempts at division and preserve the right to a shared future, free from external pressure."
As a result of the forum, it was decided to create a specialized expert community from Russia and the CIS countries. It will focus on the operational analysis of events in the information space and the formation of unified strategic narratives.
One of the organizers, head of the Department of Oriental Studies at Southern Federal University Viktor Kharchenko, noted that in the conditions of a multipolar world, when the number of power centers is increasing, some countries are trying to maintain control and dictate terms, which is reflected in the current events happening in close proximity to Rostov. He emphasized the need to assess the situation from the perspective of regional experts.
Analyst from Kazakhstan Anton Budarov also highlighted the importance of forming a resilient society, especially considering Turkey's influence on the countries of Central Asia.
