As noted by university representatives, this forum has become an important tradition that brings together scientists, students, and specialists in the field of agriculture. Its main goal is to exchange experiences, implement innovative technologies, and promote the development of the agricultural sector in Kyrgyzstan.
The first day of the event focused on the development of crop production and gathered farmers, agribusiness entrepreneurs, representatives of relevant agencies, and students from KNAU. Participants discussed modern methods of cultivating grains, technical crops, vegetables, and fruits.
Speaking farmers shared their practices and presented practical reports dedicated to the development of farms and the application of modern technologies. Students from KNAU also presented their research results and proposed new ideas for improving the agricultural sector:
Turdubekov E.A., a third-year student of the Faculty of Agronomy and Forestry, spoke about "Nokota as a culture adapted to climate change," highlighting its advantages as a drought-resistant and temperature-variable crop.
Ernis k. Akbermet, also a third-year student of the same faculty, presented a report on "Ways and Advantages of Clonal Root Propagation in Horticulture."
First-year master's student of the Faculty of Technology and Bioresources, Beyshenbekova Saadat, shared a presentation on "The Application of Modern Biotechnologies for the Production of Quality Potato Seed Material."
The participants' presentations sparked lively interest and active discussion among those present.
The "Agrodialog–2026" forum will continue for two more days, during which new thematic sections, discussions, and collaborative searches for sustainable agricultural development in Kyrgyzstan are planned.
The university rector, academician Nurgaziev R.Z., expressed support for the initiatives of young scientists in the field of modern directions of science in agriculture.
