Recently, the Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan, B. Bekbolotov, held a meeting with representatives of the international company Pronova. This information was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the KR.
During the discussion, the possibilities for cooperation in the implementation of modern agro-technologies were considered, including hydroponic growing methods, the development of greenhouse complexes, and in vitro technology for obtaining quality planting material.
“The company ‘Pronova’ shared its experience in implementing projects in the field of highly efficient crop production and expressed interest in developing similar initiatives in Kyrgyzstan. In particular, it is planned to build a hydroponic system for growing agricultural crops using advanced technological solutions,” the message specifies.Bekbolotov emphasized the importance of introducing innovative technologies in the agro-industrial sector, noting that the development of hydroponics and greenhouses could significantly enhance food security, rational use of water resources, and increase agricultural production volumes.
As a result of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to continue cooperation, exchange information, and work on possible joint investment projects.
