This instruction establishes the procedure for accounting children who are subject to education at the level of general education, which will be carried out by local state administrations and local self-government bodies. It also defines how these bodies interact with educational institutions, territorial child protection units, and other organizations involved in accounting for children.
Accounting for school-age children will be conducted within the frameworks of rural districts, cities, and other settlements, as well as in administrative regions.
All children aged 5 to 16 years residing in the relevant territory must be registered. This applies to both those studying in public and private educational institutions and those who have not completed basic general education.
This decision aims to protect the rights and freedoms of children studying in public and municipal institutions of preschool, general, and initial vocational education.
The resolution will come into force 10 days after its official publication.
