
Negotiations took place
Negotiations were held in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi, between the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan, Maksat Mamytkanov, and the leadership of the local aviation industry, during which the issue of opening direct air communication with Bishkek and creating a transit route was discussed.
The Georgian side was represented by Givi Davitashvili, the director of the Civil Aviation Agency, and Levan Moseshvili, the head of the state company "United Airports of Georgia".
During the meeting, representatives of the aviation sector shared plans for organizing flights along the route Beijing – Tbilisi with a stopover in Bishkek.
In addition, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic discussed with members of the Chamber of Commerce and major transport and logistics companies in Georgia the possibilities of increasing cargo transportation volumes by both road and rail, as well as the use of vessels in the Caspian Sea.
