Bodies of 18 victims found in Georgia after Turkish C-130 crash

According to information voiced by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Gela Geladze, rescue teams have discovered the bodies of 18 out of 20 people who died as a result of the crash of a Turkish military C-130 aircraft in Georgia. The search for the remaining two bodies continues. This information was reported by Publika.

To conduct the investigation, Georgia has formed an international investigative group, which includes representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey. "They were at the scene of the tragedy all night and actively participated in investigative actions," Geladze noted in a conversation with journalists.

The C-130 aircraft crashed on November 11 in the vicinity of the municipality of Signagi, near the border with Azerbaijan. The aircraft disappeared from radar just 27 minutes after takeoff. In connection with the incident, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has initiated a criminal case regarding violations of flight safety.
