A Turkish military transport aircraft C-130 crashed in Georgia
A tragedy occurred in Georgia: a Turkish C-130 military transport aircraft crashed in the municipality of Signagi, approximately five kilometers from the border with Azerbaijan. According to the Turkish Ministry of Defense, the aircraft was returning to its country after completing a mission in Azerbaijan, as reported.

Representatives of Georgian Navigation reported that the aircraft disappeared from radar without a prior distress signal.

Video that surfaced online shows the aircraft falling from a height, leaving a smoky trail behind.

Preliminary reports indicate that there were 20 Turkish military personnel on board, including crew members, and unfortunately, all of them perished in the crash.

The Turkish Ministry of Defense noted that rescue operations have been organized in conjunction with the authorities of Georgia and Azerbaijan, and the search for the black boxes has begun.
