The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, through its land and water use control service, emphasizes the need for strict compliance with land legislation norms.

The use of land plots must correspond to the established purposes outlined in the title documents.

Recent events show that there are cases of improper land use, where some citizens are harming agricultural soils.

This behavior is considered a serious violation of land legislation in the Kyrgyz Republic. For example, it is prohibited to place sand and gravel on agricultural lands, conduct illegal construction work, destroy the soil layer, and other similar actions. Significant fines are imposed for such violations, depending on the size of the damaged area.

For instance:

The damage for the degradation of one hectare of pasture land can reach 930,000 soms. On irrigated and mowing (irrigated) lands, the damage for similar degradation can amount to up to 8,500,000 soms. Additionally, the violator is required to restore the land plot at their own expense. In light of this, we strongly urge everyone to comply with the requirements of land legislation.
