She also reminded that the government has repeatedly expressed intentions to transition telecommunications services to 5G; however, this technology is currently virtually absent in the country. Businesses, in turn, have already invested in 4G but have not yet been able to justify these investments.
She added: "Replacing equipment requires significant costs that subscribers will not be able to bear. The Digital Code allows businesses to independently determine their needs, and government structures should not impose mandatory technologies."
Furthermore, Mambetalieva noted that the main direction of the Digital Code is the rejection of administrative control. Instead, cooperation with the state is proposed at four levels: the first - in the field of telecommunications, the second - in the area of systems, the third - services, and the fourth - data, which integrates all the aforementioned levels.
