The Prime Minister promised to visit the field
During a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, parliamentarian Yrysbek Atajanov stated that there are natural gas deposits in the rural area of Ak-Turpak and expressed a request to the government for their utilization.
“Due to the excess gas in the drinking water of the villages of Orukzar and Ak-Kalpak, there is an unpleasant smell,” the deputy noted.
In a conversation with the editorial staff of Vesti.kg, he mentioned that during the Soviet era, these resources were used by Uzbekistan, and later a Chinese company was involved in drilling wells. Currently, the deposit remains unused.
Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev promised to visit the Batken region to familiarize himself with the deposit.
