Deputy Dastan Bekeshev appealed to Adylbek Kasymaliev for assistance.
During a joint meeting of the committees of the Jogorku Kenesh, the parliamentarian emphasized that there are no suitable places for children's play in Bishkek, and that playgrounds have not been built since the Soviet era.
“Let the Bishkek city hall finally start working. The Ministry of Finance claims that we have the funds. Demand that the city hall find 200 million soms, or allocate these funds to create conditions for children and the elderly to engage in sports and leisure activities,” the deputy stated.
In response, the head of the government said that funding for targeted transfers is planned for 2026 and promised that money from these funds would be allocated for the construction of playgrounds in Bishkek.
