By the end of 2025, "Kumtor" generated revenues of over 124 billion 216 million soms, and the total gold production reached 12 tons. This was reported by Dairbek Orunbekov, head of the information policy service of the President's Administration of Kyrgyzstan.

Orunbekov noted that all financial proceeds from "Kumtor" go to the state budget and are used for the needs of citizens and the country as a whole.

He also reminded that over 29 years, while the mine was under the management of a foreign company, more than 410 tons of gold were extracted, not counting silver and other precious metals.

“Over all these years, Kyrgyzstan received only 101 million dollars in dividends. For comparison, in 2025, the income from dividends from "Kumtor" amounted to 150 million dollars,” he added.
The total income of the company for the specified year in dollar equivalent exceeded 1 billion 420 million dollars.
The head of the service emphasized that such results became possible because "Kumtor" is now under state control. He expressed confidence that natural resources should serve the interests of the people.

Orunbekov also noted that the successes in the operation of "Kumtor" are related to the years of efforts by President Sadyr Japarov, who persistently advocated for the return of the mine to state ownership.
