The Minister of Energy, Talaybek Ibraev, visited the Issyk-Kul region on a working trip, where he held meetings with representatives of companies engaged in renewable energy sources.
First, the minister familiarized himself with the construction process of a solar power plant in the village of Toru-Aygyr, which is being developed by the company "Unigrin." During the inspection, Technical Director Timurlan Kadinov spoke about the current work and plans. He noted that construction work is progressing actively.
As of today, the following tasks have been completed:
- 80% of site planning;
- 95% of fence installation;
- 50% of supply of support structures for the first phase;
- 6% of pile driving for support structures of the first phase;
- creation of sediment control structures, including a drainage channel;
- 50% completion of drainage ponds;
- 40% preparation of pits for 220 kV power line supports;
- assembly of supports is in progress.
The launch of the solar power plant with a capacity of 100 MW is scheduled for August 31, 2026.
In addition, Ibraev checked the construction work at the solar power plant being carried out by the company "RECA." During a meeting with Project Director Fam Minh Bag and Site Manager Nguyen Minh Tuan, he received information about the project's status.
According to them, 10% of the work on the 17 MW solar power plant has been completed so far. Currently, the construction of temporary housing for workers has been completed, the foundation for the substation has been laid, and 50% of the 110 kV power line has been installed. The construction of the first phase of the project with a capacity of 175 MW is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2026.
Minister Ibraev emphasized the importance of quality control and the speed of work execution, instructing the company's management to strengthen oversight of the construction.
